Pedro Halffter musical director at Teatro Cervantes, Echegaray de Málaga

On February 16 and 18, 2024 at Teatro Cervantes in Málaga, Pedro Halffter will be the musical director of this lyrical drama called ‘Dialogues des Carmélites’. Account of the true story of sixteen Carmelites from the city of Compiègne who lived under Robespierre’s Reign of Terror, which prohibited religious services carried out by this congregation, and accused them of conspiring to reestablish the monarchy.
